It has been a day now that my iphone wont connect to the server and constantly says "no service" i tried taking out the sim car, resarting my phone, turning airplane mode on and off and nothing will make it connect to koodoo. What do i do? Ive had this problem before where my iphone wont connect when i open it, and it takes hours or even days to reconnect.

Which iphone is it? If it's a 4 or a 4s make sure 3g is enabled.

Iphone 4s and yes my 3g is always enabled... But what does 3g have to do with it?

Koodo doesn't have a 2g network, so if 3g is disabled the phone won't work.

Enable 3g controls the voice network. On the iphone there's a separate switch on the same page labeled cellular data. That controls data use through the cell network.

Okay thanks you! I thought 3g meant using internet data

I've had this problem in the past. It was a faulty SIM card. Go to a Koodo kiost and ask to try a different card. If that helps, you'll have to get a new one. It may be given to you for free since it's defective. If not, it'll be $10 if you're a monthly plan subscriber.
