Does Kodoo have any restrictions on what Iphone 5s will work on there network? I purchased one in feb 2013 and according to eastlink mobile it will not work on their network, only models after apr 2013.

It's not a 5S, check the original post.

It depends on the radio frequencies programmed into the phone.

If it's a North American one, it should work as long as it's unlocked, even if it's a Verizon or Sprint one (although LTE may not work with those models), IF it's unlocked.

Check this out and then ask what are the frequencies of that specific carrier.

Assuming that it is a Verizon model as you've stated, that would make it a model A1429.

Any iPhone 5 variant will work on Koodo's HSPA network.
