Koodo can unlock their own iphones for $35. The cheapest way to unlock an iPhone in the country.

There is no "factory unlocking". Factory unlocked means the phone has never been locked to any carrier; it came out unlocked from the factory.
Koodo unlocks phones. Unlocking process, done through Koodo or other means is permanent. There's no way to re-lock an unlocked phone.
