I ordered an iPhone 7 256 gb on October 12 and just wondering if i could get an update on whether it will be shipping soon

I received a confirmation email right away just waiting for the shipping one. The order # is HFO15308696. I ordered 2 phones one for my wife and one for myself on October 12 on each of our accounts so we could use our positive tabs (two separate orders). I received my phone 2 days after placing the order but she still hasn't gotten hers. So I'm just looking for an update to see if we'll get hers soon

Hi Jay - Based on the order number it looks like you ordered an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB in Silver, is that correct?

Your order was received, reviewed, and approved - it's now in queue for shipping once stock is available. At the time of order it would have displayed the expected shipping timeline (typically 1-2 weeks for this particular model). Going by the latest timelines, your order should ship out by Oct. 31 and you would receive it within 1-2 business days.

What phone was the other order for? I'm going to assume it was a different model since you were able to get it a lot sooner. We're still managing the back-log of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus orders due to limited inventory at launch.

Both phones were the 256 gb iPhone 7 plus silver. that's why I was looking for the update as I thought it was odd to get 1 right away but still be waiting on the second. Thanks for the update

I'll check with our web store team for more info., but it's likely due to inventory and how the orders were placed in the queue. Since they were two separate orders, the other order was likely fulfilled first and we may have depleted stock before fulfilling yours. In any case, I'll check and report back.

Hi Jay - stock is being replenished by this weekend and we should be able to ship out your second order by early next week. As for why your two orders were staggered, it's purely based on the fact that we're getting fairly small quantities of the phones in batches. Both orders weren't 'side-by-side' in the queue, and by sheer luck, we had enough when fulfilling the first order, but ran out by the time we got to yours.
Let us know if you don't get the order/receive an update by mid next week.

Hi Rajan, you asked me to let you know if I had received an email regarding shipping of order HFO15308696. I placed the order on oct 12 the website said it would ship by the 21 but i still haven't heard anything

I just checked with the web store team, Jay. Although I was last told that the device would be available this week for shipping, we did not receive new inventory as expected. I realize this isn't what you were hoping to hear, but when it comes to inventory availability it is entirely on Apple's stock and distribution levels. Next outlook is for the coming week, so I will continue to monitor and keep you posted. Sorry, I wasn't able to provide you with better news.

I have a better update for you Jay - taking your full experience into consideration the team was able to secure a transfer of one unit from our friends at TELUS. Once the warehouse team has the transfer in-hand, we'll ship this out to you; likely by Monday/Tuesday. I'll continue to keep my eye on this until shipment is confirmed.
