Hello,

I'm interested in purchasing the iPhone 6 in 64 GB in the gold colour, but it has been a struggle to find this phone as they only seem to carry stock in the space grey colour (at least in my area). The phone was released several months ago and stock should not be an issue at this point. I have been waiting for over a month for someone from several Koodo locations in my area to contact me about this phone, but I haven't heard back from anybody.

I'm extremely upset by this as the longer it takes for me to purchase this phone, the more the value of my current phone will depreciate. I know that several of your competitors do have this phone in stock and have been offering very competitive rates. I am not currently bound by a tab and the only thing keeping me with Koodo, who I have had such an excellent experience with for the most part, is the fact that I don't like to switch providers and I am extremely happy with both the phone service and the customer service. I would hate for stock to be the reason that I need to switch.

Is there anything you can do for me? I know that the phone is in stock at Apple. Am I able to purchase it there and possibly have it subsidized on a Tab through Koodo?

Did all of the location say they carried the Gold version and they sold out?

According to the website, Koodo only carries the iPhone 6 - 64GB in Space Grey

They did state that they sold out. I'm not sure why the Gold version isn't even shown on the website, but I wondered about that too. I can only hope that someone will call me soon!

No you would not be able to bring a phone to Koodo and use the TAB, but you would qualify for 10% off your bill each month, and the phone would be unlocked without paying any additional fees.

Ah, okay. :( I don't even think I would qualify because I have a grandfathered plan that I don't want to change and I fear that I would be required to.

Wait, are you actually expecting the stores to call you back to tell you when they are gonna be in stock? Cause they won't. Especially since you're renewing.

Call everyday and if they ask if you're upgrading or a new activation, say you're a new one and they will tell you the truth about the stock.

I have had Koodo in-store reps lie to me about the status of stock because I said I was an existing customer, then had a friend call and say he was a new activation and they said they had stock. We both showed up and upgraded our lines, they were pissed. We were happy.
