my last bill was paid in full and now my current bill is saying I owe for prior month. Please explain

We can't explain, since none of us have insight in your account, Peggy. You're best off to call Koodo (*611) and ask them to explain. Only thing I can think of is they two might have crossed each other - payment got in after the bill got out - but only they can tell you for sure :)

Sounds like the payment arrived late and so your bill won't reflect it. I would call customer service to inquire about your account status.

1 of 2 things might of happened. The payment was made after the invoice was printed which is not reflecting that balance. Or 2 if the payment was made through online banking or bank teller a payment investigation would be required through your financial institution if Koodo never received your payment.
