Can you elaborate upon your question more please, it will allow us to help you with your issue?
If you are trying to activate and your phone has a SIM Card then the # on the SIM Card is the one you want to be using not the imei # on the phone.

It needs to be asked just in case ... did you purchase the phone from Koodo or another legitimate source?
Often stolen devices are sold to unsuspecting "victims" with their IMEI blocked.

By chance, are you trying to do a phone swap and are entering in the IMEI instead of the serial number of the sim card?

We do need more information to go on. Just simply posting "invalid imei#" isn't going to get you anywhere.

Hey Leanna, when activating a HSPA phone on a Koodo account, it would be the serial number of the sim card that would need to be entered.

Leanna, what was the old phone that you tried to hand down to your husband? Did it take a SIM card? If yes, read #1. If no, Read #2.

1. All the girl needed to do is select "SIM-only" during the activation and then select the type of phone it is (BB OS7 or earlier, iPhone/WP/Android/BB10+, or other) and forget the serial # field. There's no need to put in the IMEI #.

2. Have the rep do a SIM-only activation (like in #1) but then ask them to call in to their channel support to have them switch the serial # over to the right one, since some retailers can't activate Koodo CMDA phones (myself included).

The rep will also need the master unlock code for programming the CDMA phone with the correct phone #. Channel support should be able to help with that too.

Okay, then it accepts a SIM card. All the girl had to do was perform a SIM-only activation with the phone type as Android/iPhone/WP/BB OS 10+ with his own phone # and plan. Then your husband has the option fo taking a 10% discount on his monthly plan but you won't accumulate any + Tab, or you can earn 15% of his plan as positive Tab for use in the future.
