Invalid SIM message on phone.

Just started with Koodo bought an Alcatel one touch.
Went through intial setup on self serve, got a phone number setup the account information and the phone indicates INVALID SIM. Called tech support,they said it all looked fine, he made a couple of suggestions and then hung up.
I went back to the KIOSK where I bought it. They put their SIM cd in and the phone worked. They attempted to intiate mine to no avail. They called tech support and were on the phone with them for over an hour, they replaced my SIM card with a new one. Tech support said they would have to manually enter all data and that it would take a couple of hours. They asked for a phone nuber where I could be contacted and they woulld call within a couple of hours. That was 24 Hours ago.
My knew phone is still not functioning and indicates INVALID SIM.

Hi Sam,

It seems like you are already on the right track. Contact customer support again over the phone and ask for an update on the situation, theres not much else we can do here. It may be a little frustrating but this is the way you have to go unfortunately.

I had the same problem with a phone that had been working for  3 months.
I restarted the phone and the message went away; it's fine now.
