If I am travelling in Turkey, and I enable my phone to receive calls from Canada, will I be charged $1.50/min to receive the call?

Yes, you will pay for incoming calls not matter where they come from, because you have to pay the fee to receive calls in Turkey :(
Actually it's worse than that... Turkey is in zone 2 and the cost will be $2.50 per minute to receive and make calls from there!

Same as Sophia said, just to add sms rates, since if you turn on your phone and you receive sms (as you know, incoming we don't control that on our cell) you will be charged as well.....
