That's not a shock/no surprise.

That's because the S5 is still at this point the newest version that's available. Once the S6 is actually released, you could then see the price go down.

Don't hold your breath as it won't drop that much. The iPhone 5S is still selling for a whopping $675 while the iPhone 6 has been out for over 6 months.

They'll most likely drop the Galaxy S3 and knock $50 off the S4 and S5. If you want a good deal on flagship phones you have to skip 2 generations.

Using iPhone as comparison makes absolutely no sense. iPhones don't ever drop in price except for sales and when a new model is released. iPhones actually retain their value unlike androids
