Incorrectly charged for roaming

I was incorrectly charged for roaming. I was charged for roaming while in Victoria BC. Who do I contact?

For billing issues, only Koodo agents could help, you could send a message through their Facebook or call *611 from your Koodo number.

Thanks I couldn't find a number anywhere. I'll have to call them in the morning or they'll charge me $10

Katey, the *611 method of contact works well for billing concerns.  I have never been charged for this because only Koodo can cancel the roaming charge (and while on that call they will help you change to Koodo manually to prevent further roaming charges on your trip).  Your call will not use up any of your phone minutes either.

Please start a new thread with your specific issue. At any rate you may as well do what's suggested here and that's to send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to get it sorted out

When in locations near the border, including Victoria, White Rock, Niagara Falls, and many other such locations it is wise to switch your carrier setting from Automatic to Koodo. That way it will connect only to Koodo, rather than to the strongest signal, preventing you roaming on US carriers, and being charged for roaming.

Only options for mobile network are lte/wcdma/gsm or wcdma/gsm or wcdma or gsm. My network provider is set to koodo. And I have now turned off data roaming. Thanks for your help though

What phone do you have? You should be able to set up network provider to be Manual
