My agreement with Koodo says that my monthly base rate is $36. But how come I was charged $46.1 when I did not exceed any limits this month?

Is this your first bill with koodo? Or did you change plans in last month? If the answer yes to either one of those the likelihood is that you have proration. Standard practice and no you are not actually paying more. Phone companies charge a month in advance plus the partial month from your date of activation or when you changed plans. The third page of your bill breaks down the details of everything, I'm sure you will find the answer to the $46 there too.

Yes. It was my first bill with koodo. I signed the agreement on December 7 and have to pay the bill by January 7. There shouldn't be any proration. I was told that I have unlimited minutes and also unlimited data for the first 10 days. As I checked my usuage, everything was under limit. Then my only concern now is that koodo forgot to implement the 10% off thing stated on my agreement.

There is always proration. With every phone company. Standard practice.

Give Koodo customer service a call. We here on the Community can't access your account, bills or anything of the like. They'll be the ones who can really give you a detailed explanation as to why you bill was high, and why the 10% BYOD Discount wasn't applied.
