I have $30 CAN talk and text 100 minutes. While I am at home (Brampton) I receive a call from the USA. Will I be charged a long distance fee? Will the time spent on that call come out of my 100 minutes?

No worries, Susan, as long as you in Canada, all incoming calls are treated equally :) But yes it will use up your regular air time.

All your incoming calls are treated the same as long as your in Canada. You will use your minutes though. Unless your plan includes the free after 5pm and weekends. Which would then be the best time to receive calls if you don't want to use all your minutes.
Good luck hope this helps
