Hello Debasis,

If the customer support couldn't help you identify the app, I have a hard time thinking about how we are able to help. Maybe ask around your family?

The support person said it's a game but I don't have any game on my mobile

Could be a game, music, book anything purchased from the play store or that allows mobile billing.

Was it $4.99?

Not necessarily via play store. If it's the $4.99 charge it could be the below:

"The $4.99 is an immediate a sign of an application purchase. Yours Sandra took place on July 14th. It looks like you called an 800 and/or 888 number that afternoon. If you download your invoice you'll see 3 calls. That number belongs to a company that charges this fee for their services. We have nothing to do with them. You could certainly dispute the charge by calling them as they state here:

"So if you are unsure as to why you are being charged, when the charges were made and/or where they originated we recommend you contact our customer support billing enquiries team online or call 1-866-340-4990 and select option 1."

I just got charged for "Application Store Service". In my case it took a few minutes before I realized that it was for a charitable donation I made. The name Koodo uses appears to be a catchall phrase. They could have provided the name of the charity or for other folks the name of the originator of the charge but where's the fun in that? It does appear from answers that I've seen, that there is no security on this. Essentially, it seems that anyone can charge you for any amount they feel like and your stuck with it.

A lot of it is handled through third party companies like mentioned above. The most Koodo could do from their end (for the above example) would say the charge came from Triton Global.
