iMessage stuck in "waiting for activation"

I switched from Rogers to Koodo today and my iMessage is not working. My iMessage and FaceTime seem to be stuck in "waiting for activation". I have turned both off and on again, and restarted my phone. However, nothing has fixed the issue. Has anyone else had this issue? My iMessages are being sent with my email and not my phone number, and my phone won't let me change that option of how I send my iMessages...

I'm having the SAME exact issue. Rogers to Koodo and my phone is on the fritz. Any solution yet?

Have you followed Allan's suggestion?
It is likely an Apple Issue, as iMessages do not go through Koodo's servers, but directly to Apple.
