If you bring your own phone, then you can go month-to-month. In addition, you can get a 10% discount off your plan. So $75 - 10% = $67.50/month.

EVERY plan with koodo is month to month.

If they take a tab, it's basically a 2 year contract and if they cancel they pay off the remaining subsidy just like other carriers. I could say the other carriers are month to month too.

Information like that is misleading to new or potential customers. They may get a tab and then be pissed that they are charged a "fee" for cancelling before the 2 years. It's happened before.

But to the OP, exactly what quasarito said :)

You can still switch between plans at any time and are not locked in to a specific contract plan. Not the case with traditional contracts.

It is the reps they talk to that should be explaining how the tab works. Too many times a customer is misinformed or they just flat out ignore the description because all they hear is "Oh, I get a phone for free" or something like that.
