I'm upset that I lost my tab balance, not fair! Looks like I'm not the only one that feels this way!

I just see that my $150 positive tab is now 0. It says that I recieved an upgrade, payoff or credit. It should have said "you've been screwed!" . I don't need a new phone but I still owe $80 on my wifes tab. Same account, I'm paying for both, same bill so why can't my positive tab be used to offset the other. That would seem fair.

Hi Stan, what do you mean you lost your tab? Did you make any changes to your account, you say you didn't upgrade to a new phone so not sure why you lost your tab. Koodo did bump everyone who had an old tab up to the full $150 recently so not sure why yours would be taken away for no reason.

Tabs have NEVER been transferable between lines. That goes right back to the day koodo launched. You also have not lost your positive tab balance. It has been converted to a $150 phone credit which will be automatically applied next time you purchase a phone online.

Because tabs are always linked to their lines without exception. This is the same for any carrier in Canada and most other countries I know of.

@Stan, if you are referring to the email you recently received about some changes to our Tab system, this is what you likely received:

"The Tab amount you have already earned has shifted into a personalized Koodo offer of equal value thatyou can use to buy a new phone, just like how you would’ve used your Tabearnings in the past."

In May you have already reached the maximum of 150 tab and naturally stopped any more accumulation. We have never taken what you had away and it will remain available anytime you needed.

You still have your $150 credit towards a phone, it is just loaded differently in Koodo's system when you upgrade. Don't worry :) like Bernard said it is available to you whenever you want to upgrade.
