I'm in the middle of my two year contract and wanting to go to a cheaper plan. Is this possible to do?

So I'm almost a year into my two year contract and am finding my plan to be too expensive. All I really need is unlimited texting and want to downgrade my plan. Is it possible to do that?

Hi Ashley,

If you mean the Tab when you say contract, then yes as long as you don't have a tab large or tab plus. Tabs Large/Plus require you to have a more pricey plan, but if you have any other tabs you can switch to any of the plans.

However, if you want one of the current plans then you will need to pay off your tab in order to be able to switch to one of the new plans. If you don't want to pay off your tab, you will need to pick a older plan that you can view on self serve when you look at the plans.

I don't know what plan you have... but if you only need unlimited texting, you might want to check the prepaid plans.

You still need to pay off your tab to switch to the prepaid plan and need to get a sim card for it.
But it might save you the cost of phone service in the long run.
