I suspended a phone on my account but someone has my sim card, will they be able to use the sim card in another phone?

Hey Now Kelly,

When you suspend a phone you are actually changing the plan attached to the sim inside the phone. So that sim can not be used until you unsuspend it.

Hey, I had the same question as Kelly. My phone was stolen, I suspended my phone, but when I got my phone back, my sim card was gone. I know you stated that the sim card can not be used as long as the service is suspended. But, I bought another sim card and reactivated my phone, will someone be able to use my old sim card since the service is now active again?

SIM cards can only ever be activated on one account. There can also only ever be one sim card active at a time for any given number. If you have replaced your sim then nobody else can use the old one.
Oh ok. Thank you! :☺☺

There is no limit as to how long you can suspend a line. A bill will still be generated for the services even when the line is suspended.

So the first question is why do you want to cancel your phone?

If you want to you need to call in and speak to a rep. Canceling can't be done through selfserve.

Yup just call in, you'll be responsible to pay any outstanding tab balance, your last month is calculated up to your bill date so there's that. And any overages.

Too bad about your friend.

Have a great day!
