If I have a problem with my Nexus 4, do I have to take it to the same place I bought it from to get it fixed?

My Nexus 4 died when I was out then when I went to go charge it, it wouldn't turn on. I had this problem a couple of weeks ago, and I went in and they 'fixed' it for me but now it's happened again. I am currently away at school, if I need to can I go to a Koodo at the mall here to see if they can fix it or do I have to go to where I bought it?

You can go to any Koodo store and they'll assess the issue.

Does it charge at all or no? Have you tried using a different charger, cable, or wall socket first?

Nope, you can take it to any koodo shop to send it to repair.

Check out the store locator to find the closest one → http://koodomobile.com/en/on/storeloc...

Hi Sarah! Warranty is covered by the manufacturer and the store is just a relayer, you may take the phone to any koodo shop and they will send the phone over for repair; however to pick it back up you do have to go the same shop where you dropped it off.
ok so i took it in and it has to be send out but ill loose all my contacts, im trying to transfer them to my computer but it wont connect, is there any way for me to save my contacts, pictures ect. or am i sol??

Did you have your contacts synced to Google? If that's the case, they would all be online in your Google account.
no i wasn't aware that that could be done...

It won't connect b/c the phone is not on, so it's not synching with your computer. unfortunately all data will be lost if you didn't have it backed up to your gmail account. Sometimes your phone will automatically upload your settings/apps/pictures etc. if you had auto-back up turn on, so lets cross our fingers that it was and you will get your stuff back once you sign in to you google account.
