If I get my son a android phone, Can I get a plan with no date? and will Koodo block it for me?

Hi Scott,

I'd say for a child (assuming that's what your son is) the very best deal would be Prepaid: $15 per month and he can text and picture message to his heart's content.
Add a voice booster for $25 will give him 500 minutes talk time with no expiry date...
No data needed and no unexpected fees :)

If you did want to get them a phone on a postpaid account (maybe you have one yourself and want to take advantage of family calling), you are able to get a data block when you activate the phone. One thing to keep in mind is with a data block they wont be able to send or receive picture msgs.
