Hi there Amanda... The only way to pay off the TAB is when the line is cancelled... Check how much you have left on your TAB and see how much you can put again in it... Also, if you are eligible you can get TAB M, and you will have up to 300$ off a new phone...

Paying off your TAB will be the same that paying for a new phone in the store, so check your TAB, check the phone you want, approach the store and hopefully you will be able to get the TAB M and get another phone...

So I would need to change it to a bigger plan and then order a new phone?

If you want the medium Tab and your present plan isn't $30 plan price alone or more than yes. Keep in mind that you won't be able to switch back to your old plan or to any plan lower than $30 till your tab is paid off or for 2 years ( which your plan becomes paid off guaranteed in 2 years from the date of getting the phone.)

I think my best bet is to go into a store and have them see what my options are. Believe it or not I have only had the phone for about a month and a half and it fell out of my pocket on the bathroom floor and shattered. I completely forgot that it was in my pocket! Warranty doesn't cover negligence damage :(

I can pay for the phone I just wasn't sure if it was more costs then that as the phone was just purchased. Like if I was on some kind of contract and had to pay the full 150 and then an additional charge to that.

Ya I've done the same in the past and dropped a new phone a week after I got it & smashed the display of it sucks bad since ya warranty doesn't cover physical damage. I learned my lesson and I make sure to buy a good 2 layer case as soon as I get a phone now. I highly recommend getting a good case for your next phone, incipio dual pro and Otterbox make a couple great dual layer cases that protect awesome against drops
