Telus and Koodo use the same towers so you'd have similar service with Koodo in the same area. But again it also depends on different factors including your phone. Some may be better at maintaining signal strength/reception

Are you planning on changing phones? Koodo runs on Telus' network but different model phones also play into what signal strength you get. If you keep the seem phone not will change.

Thanks, I had a Samsung (older one) and was just give an I-phone 4, which we switch on to the Telus and the service is about the same, hubby has a Bell phone and it is only slightly better. Our area of reception is very poor.
