You can keep your number, Nicole, but only if you port it out to another service first. This can be another provider, or prepaid, or (depending on the location) even a VOIP service.
Your SIM will become useless after you cancel.

If they're are long wait times you will need to wait until a customer service rep is available to answer, or choose the option to have someone call you back, which you should hear when you first call in. There is no way around this.

I didn't hear where is the option for "someone call you back",
many times calling, hold online for very long time...
Obviously, that's a very bad service, only a tel No., Nobody there!

It is no different than going to the grocery store and having several people in front of you at the checkout. Staff are dealing with each call as quickly as they can, but everyone in front of you will be served before you are.

I made more than 5 calls, from morining to afternoon, the longest call last > 20 minutes.

Kodoo arrange one person servine whole Canada?

Compliance with WHAT? There is absolutely no law or regulation which states anything about maximum wait times. They have many agents on staff. More people than that are calling in. Therefore there is a wait to get through. Hanging up and calling back just means that you are moving from the middle of the line to the end of the line. It will not get you through more quickly.

I waited so long ,you never feel shy?
Is this the Kodoo service standard?
Even though I waited for more than 20minutes, you suggest me wait longer?

It is completely up to you whether to wait or not. if you wish to speak with a rep, however, you will need to wait for one to answer.

Come on man seriously. If you want to speak with someone at koodo, you call in, you wait for a rep, wether its 1 minute or an hour wait time. Yes it sucks to wait that long but it is what it is. Your not the only customer and your no higher of a priority than I or someone else is. No need to act like your special and should be answered before everyone else. Press 611 from your phone, and wait till it asks you if u want a call back, choose yes and hang up. They will call you back when your time has come

Would you mind terribly to start another thread with your complaint, wentao? Poor Nicole who started this conversation must be getting lots of emails by now. Thank you so much for your consideration :)

In order to do so, you will need to stay on the line until someone answers. I believe we have been over this ground a few times already.

I understand your frustration and there maybe a language barrier. To get the "call me back" option, you have to way until the operator gives you two options, press 1 to stay in line or press 2 to have someone call you back. It will then ask you to say your name and it will automatically hang-up. Someone then will call you back.
