If I pay my tab off completely can I cancel my contract with Koodo or is there other steps?

You can port over or cancel without first paying. You will still pay the tab of course but it's put in a final bill for all service broken down daily. So port/cancel, then pay the final bill, an you're done. Of course you'll want you phone to b unlocked I f it isn't already to use elsewhere.

No of course not, I wasn't sure how your contracts worked considering they aren't technically "contracts" they are Tabs. And I'd rather pay off my tab anyway. I thought I was only going to be paying 56.00 a month (estimated) but then the tab is added on and I pay 73.00 a month which is quite a lot for me.

Fair enough. However, you aren't paying extra by having the tab vs paying it off ahead of time. But you'd rather pay it off as you said, so that's fine of course. It doesn't get cancelled so much as just paid off, and you continue normally with your service.
