If I buy a phone without a term(no contract), will I be able to use that in another country? I'm from Brazil and I'll be going back soon.

iPhone unlocking will cost more, but if you buy iPhone directly from Apple, or Nexus brand in Android phones, there will be no expense since those phones come factory unlocked.

Hey Wallisson! Just to clarify Marcus's comment, the current unlock fee is $35. Safe travels!

I would recommend that you purchase the phone at an Apple Store instead, if one is available to you. This way, you don't have to bother with unlocking the phone as it will be unlocked. If you were to get it on a tab, you'd have to pay off the tab before you close the account, so there's no incentive to do that.

Just so you know, Apple products carry a global warranty, so if anything happens to your phone in Brazil, you are covered through Apple's support channels there.

The phone I'm gonna buy is not an iPhone. I'd love, but I can't spend that much, I don't have money enough for that.
But thank you anyways.

It's generally cheaper to get an unlock code from ebay or some other online source if it's not an Iphone. Depending on the OEM it can be as low as 3 and as high as 20 bucks.
