Usually preprogrammed on phones as 1. So dialing 1 should access your voicemail.

Or dial your own number and press the * key when your voicemail picks up

To add, you'll have to press and hold '1' from the dialpad for one to two seconds in order to access voicemail. By dialing '1' only, the phone will think that you are trying to make a call and wait for the rest of the phone number. To fast-forward through message prompts, tap or press '1' on the dialpad.

How does one do that, the only place I can hold from is the red phone. this is very madding, in fact I may have to change carriers. I have been trying to access voice mail since forever.... ever since I got my phone.....This is driving me crazy. When I try using my phone #, a voice said that I was given a temp #. That is 100% wrong, I was never given any such thing. I either find out or I go elsewhere. I am so tired f...ing around. I have almost reached the point of no return.

It doesn't say you have been given a temporary password, it say 'your system administrator has assigned you a temporary password'.

The temporary password will be your 10-digit phone number. Once you type it in, the system will prompt you to change it for a new one of your choosing.
