I have a cell phone plan that says I cant call long distance. I can only call throughout canada. My boyfriend has an app that calls me using internet and it assignes a randon number, his number happens to be from florida. Am I being charged for this?

If you call florida you will be paying for US long distance as well as your normal airtime mins. It would be best for you to text him and have him call you

Magic Jack?

You should have the functionality to call the the U.S as they use the same dialing system as within Canada, however without an add-on (unltd or $3 LD saver) you'd be billed for OUTGOING.

Incoming is not charged on a pay-per-use scale, it would only be charged towards your minutes included in your plan if you're on a limited minutes package.
