I have google android operating system and I often receive annoyinf ads trying to get me to download games, etc. How do I stop this?

the only way to stop this is to buy the pro version, I have found some apps give you more ad's then other's, such as the music downloads, this is been my experience anyway, however I put up with the ad's for the awsome apps that are on the google play store for free, hope this helps.

If the ads are showing up in your notification area you may have inadvertently downloaded an ad server

Get an app like Adaware from the Play Store. It will scan your apps and figure out which one is doing it. Then you can unitstall the culprit app.
