You have to pay off the tab in full before you can upgrade to a new phone on the tab, which can be paid at the kiosk or added to your bill the next month. So your have to pay whatever is owing on your tab then choose whatever tab you want as long as you get a plan that's eligible for that tab. You can have any plan for tab small but medium Tab you need a plan that's $30 or more before taxes, add-ons or over ages. For a large tab you need to choose a tab large plan.

Okay, that's weird cause I had a 150 tab before and was able to just add on to the tab that I already had making it 245...so I can't add on to that again?

Im pretty sure you were allowed to stack tabs before but since the new tab was introduced you are not able to do that anymore.

The change was due to the New CRTC rules. Since a Tab acts like a contract, a phone tab must be paid off in full before a new one may be started so that there is a clear line between a tab clearing after 24 months
