No idea where this should go and that upgrade survey wouldn't recieve my mms.
But the rep at the Edmonton City Centre location who helped me was awesome: enthusiastic, knowledgeable, really great customer service. It was unfortunate this location did not having my desired phone model. He transferred me over to the Kingsway location via phone (also disclosed my name for their info). The rep who helped me at this location was the exact opposite: bored, sloppy, nonchalant, unprofessional, (forgot I was coming). The singular most disgusting customer service experience in my enitre life also happened here. At the beginning of the transaction, he sneezed directly into his palm and proceeded to touch my ID card, new phone and papers as if I hadn't noticed. My background is health/medicine and I was extremely, extremely put off, especially since it's flu season now. If not for my immediate need of a phone, I would have left right away. In general, I'm really offput by this and I certainly hope I never have to personally deal with a 1/2 chance of encountering an extremely unprofessional rep from Koodo.
My next visit to such a service may be elsewhere. Otherwise, thanks for reading and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Ewwwww!!! That really does sound gross...

But might I suggest instead of posting here in the public forums (which is okay too, I guess, Koodo never tries to sweep valid complaints under a rug) in a delicate case like this you might actually be better off to send an email directly to Koodo so that they can have a quiet talk with this employee?

And I agree the Edmonton City Centre kiosk is the best. They have always helped me and sometimes I can be very difficult

s.shlee.s. at least you had the opportunity and the option TO ASK the employee to stop the transaction and request that he/she please wash/sanitiz hands and start over.
I have found that it works every time, the few times it happens during flue season.

This is why I always sneeze/cough into my shirt. Then it doesn't get on my hands, just my chest, which no one is touching anyways :P.

I did that once, it was like a snot/flem explosion all over the front of my shirt and my wife made me go sit in the truck, while she finished the Christmas shopping. So that worked out well for me....

This is why I make sure we have a box of tissues and a bottle of hand sanitizer at our Kiosk. I also dust, disinfect the counters, dummy phones, and live displays at least once a day. I'm not a clean freak, during January and February there's a lot of downtime lol
