I can't send pictures with my texts even though it's included in my plan

I can take pics and send them (it doesn't say there was a problem) but the person I send them to never gets them. My plan is prepaid with unlimited texting (text and picture) so I can't figure out why not.

If they aren't receiving the picture after your confirmation of sending it, then the issue is on their end. If they have a post paid account, their mobile data needs to be turned on, otherwise they will need to contact their provider for assistance.

Just checked and it doesn't confirm they were sent. It just says "Sending" forever. :(

What kind of phone do you have? If it does have Data/4G access, do you have that turned on when trying to send the MMS?

Typically these days sending pictures over text is handled as MMS which requires data to send.

Oh, that might be it. I haven't paid for data on my plan, but it should unlimited picture texts. I turned off the data option so I didn't accidentally do something that gave me a huge bill for using data without realizing.
If I turn data back on, can I send pictures without it somehow using other data unintentionally?

If you are connected to wifi and mobile data, you will not be charged for data but the pictures will go through.

Yep, Zaphod beat me to it. Connect to WiFi at home, turn on your data and the pictures will send. Just make sure to turn off Data when you don't need it.
