I would like to know if I can get my Koodo phone number unlisted .... I don't like that I can google it and see my name and address etc. it's a great invasion of my privacy.

Koodo did not list your number. All cellular numbers are unlisted. Did you port it from a landline, as that could be one source of the information you see when you Google search for it.

Hi Linda,Where is the information coming up when you search your phone number? By default cell phone numbers arn't shared and the only way for it to really be traced back to you is if you publish your phone number on Facebook or Google, or something of the sorts.

I have not put my phone number anywhere but when you google it it some how comes up so that they can pay something and get my info. I always thought it was milarky until someone called that the courts have a document that there is no contact. Did not get it from anyone. Boasted how he googled it and with the info googled my address. I had to move immediately at great cost to myself. I am going to change my number after i can be assured it will not be out there again. My life depends on it with this situation.

It was the person that is not supposed to contact me. Know the voice and know the name.

You're best off to change your number then. Koodo does NOT publish account information, ever, so if your number got out in the open, it must have been by other means.

Changing your number would definitely put you back to anonymity, as long as you keep the number to yourself and people you trust.

BTW, if this individual has a "No Contact Order', this becomes a police matter - you did retain the record of their phone number in your recent calls list, so you can report it?

reported it. told they can not do anything until he does something. apparently the order is just a piece of paper.

anyway, going to change my number with koodo at a kiosk to make sure things are well.

I want to thank everyone for their help on this matter.

You can change your number online in self-serve right from your computer. No need to even go to the Koodo booth, who will likely direct you to the self-serve site anyway.
