I will be out of country this winter. I would like to suspend phone for this time. Is there a procedure that allows this?

Yeah there is and it is called season hold (15/month). You need to go to your self serve and search it under plans. Keep in mind that going on a seasonal hold might cut you off from your current plan if it is not available when you come back in the country. In other words, you will be obliged to chose from the plans offered at the time of your return

You can put your line on seasonal hold for $15/month instead of your regular rate plan for up to 6 months. Once you come back, you have to choose a new plan thats available at that time.

2 years ago I paid about half of that when I went to Europe for 2 months. What is wrong with Koodo!

If you aren't worried about loosing you plan I would just terminate the phone service. And if you want to keep your number just transfer to a prepaid phone service.

Management must look at making this easier. The difficulty in finding the info, and contacting anyone to discuss this makes me want to go back to Fido. At least they have good customer service, not the crap Koodo has
