i went to koodo and they told me there system was down and i could not get a new phone and transfer my number? Is this true or did they just not want to do the transaction due to it being a half hour from closing? This is frustrating because im going on a trip and would have liked to have a phone.

Hey Chris,

Trust me, it was not the rep's own choosing that they could not activate your phone. There is a very good possibility that their network was down and could not process any new activation. It is not their fault. Any network or IT system does not work 100% of the time. The timing for you is just an unfortunate coincidence.

They earn commission, and a higher one for new activations. I'm sure they would have stayed later to get the sale

I was just wondering because its been 3 different times I go to this koodo and there is always something wrong with there network. Was not at all mad just curious.

3 times is odd, what Koodo kiosk did you go exactly and maybe we can get Koodo to look into it? I mean even if it is the system I'd say something needs to be done about it as I'm sure Koodo doesnt want to be losing customers on a technicality.

intercity mall in Thunder bay and no i usually don't have any issues with them. But this time nothing but attitude and telling us that our koodo phone numbers didn't exist.
