I went over my data for the month and it says 13mb in next tier (I have 50mb). How much do I have left to use for that $5 additional charge?

it depends on your plan.

I believe that for 50 MB plans the next tier is 50 MB - in which case you would have 37 MB left....but I also believe that as soon as you go over your allotted data that you get charged the overage fee.

From what I remember the cost is $7.50/50 MB for overage, which means that as soon as you go over your original 50 MB, you would get charged 7.50, and then if you went over the next 50 MB, then another $7.50, etc...

The $7.50 is what I remember, from your question it appears that it is $5....sorry.

It depends on your plan. Smaller plans with less data might be 50 MB or lower, larger plans might allow 250 MB for your $5 assessment.

Accessing your account using Self Serve should allow you to discover more.

Also, keep in mind that it is how Koodo measures data, not your phone....your phone can show different usage then Koodo shows.

If you have the ability on your phone (most androids have this), and iPhone has an app, you can limit your usage so that you get a warning at a certain number of MB, and it stops your usage at another leavel - my suggestion is warning at 45 MB, and cut off at 48 MB (so you do not get hit with overage charges).

Most of the time the phone usage shows higher, but sometimes it is koodo that shows higher...this covers you either way.

I have 2GB and mine are set for 1.8 GB and 1.95 GB....can always turn off mobile data limit is it is halfway through the month and still need data. :)
