I was charged for incoming calls but I have unlimited Canada wide calling. One charge was for $9 from an incoming call from Calgary to Montreal during the day and another $3.50 charge for a daytime call within Montreal. Does anyone know why this applies or what it is?

Were you near the USA border (but in Canada) at the time of these charges?

Have you reviewed your PDF bill? It will have lots of detail as to those calls, and where they were placed / connected.

Hello there David,

I did check the PDF bill. One call was from a family member in Calgary and the other was a local incoming call from Montreal, while I am located in Montreal. We are close to the border with the United States, but not that close. Have you seen this type of charge for a local call before?

Thank you.

Have you change your plan to unlimited plan?
And the charges for minutes overage from previous plan?

The plan has always been unlimited Canada-wide. That is why it is so strange that any fees should apply. There is no reason for any roaming charges either.

It's odd... I would send a private message( Includes/link this post ) on Facebook, so they can look into your account.

Hi Eric - here's what we're seeing:
You changed your plan on November 28 to an Unlimited Canada wide, from a plan with 400 local minutes.

Charges on your latest invoice for the overage in minutes are from Nov 25, so before the rate plan change took effect. There's also, a long distance charge for a call made to the U.S. for $0.40 cents.

Hope that helps clarify.
