I was charged for data I didn't use

About a month ago my phone started acting weird and wouldn't hold a charge and the battery would heat up and get very hot in my phone. I took it to the store and got a new battery and thought it was all over but about a week ago I get my bill and it says it's for $116... it said I used all my data and then some that monthe but I know I didn't. I got the message saying I used all my data the same day my phone starTed acting weird. Has anyone had a similar problem like this or have any idea what I should do?

Hi Alyssa,
Alyssa, I don't think this problem has anything to do with your phone's heating up problems or acting weird problems. There are two scenarios of what could have really happened.
1. Koodo made a mistake (Nobody is perfect)
2. You could have kept your data on without knowing it. That has happened to people unintentionally and on phones, background apps such as facebook and google plus use up quite a bit of celluar data to update and upload stuff automatically.
If you are really concerned and you have no idea just give Koodo customer service a call at
611 on a koodo phone
or 1-866-995-6636 on a non-koodo phone.
