Hi, I want to get an iphone 5s from koodo and right now I have my old, unlocked phone because I was put on a 6 month wait because i'm a student with no credit. When that wait it up (end of dec, beginning of jan) I want to get the iphone.
But I'm very confused because it used to say $275 for a $15/month tab and $130 with $21/month tab and then it went to just the tab plus option, and now it says $0 with $21/month tab. I would prefer $15/month tab because I'm not currently working, is that still available? and would it be less now since the tab plus went to $0?
Also, because i signed up with my old phone i was given $50 tab bonus towards when I want to upgrade, and online it says the phone cost is $80 now instead of $0 like it says when im not logged into my account. I'm so confused, what price is this phone?
& do i need to change my 750 mb plan in order to get the new phone?
also is there a way to bypass that probation period since I've paid all my phone bills on time since July? Maybe so I can get my phone in December instead of January?

Hello Tiffany,

You can put any amount you want towards the tab. To only have to pay 15$/month plus your phone bill, you will need to put 360$ towards the tab and pay 274 plus tax upfront. Now, if you have a credit on your tab at the moment, you can take the amount of the credit off of the upfront price I just gave you. For example, if your tab is at +50$, you would be able to pay 224$ plus tax upfront.

As for your plan, you will not be required to chance plans if you don't want to.

As for your probation period, I doubt that they will wave it, but you will need to contact Koodo by dialing *611 from your current Koodo phone to speak with a rep and they will see what can or canot be done with your account.
