This company ia a nightmare. I've been with Koodo 3 days and I can't cancel my account fast enough - mostly because customer service appears to be non-existent. Is there a way to get out of this mess without waiting for hours on the phone? It all started with trying to use self service to change my plan and start a tab, but the plan I want isn't an option. The folks at the kiosk told me the plan is available but they couldn't switch it, so I tried calling - what a joke.

"the plan I want isn't an option" not to be rude but shouldn't you have looked into the plans before signing up and then noticing a plan u want isn't available? Which plan is it that u wanted? We are here to help mostly 24/7 but care closes as 9pm. If u call after 9am ur local time listen for the prompt that says "we will call you back" and just follow the instructions and you will not have to wait on the phone.

You can change your plan to any other plan in your market once each billing cycle. Since you presumably chose a plan when you signed up, your next opportunity to make a change will be at your next billing date.

If you do end up cancelling, the fastest way to do so is to sign up somewhere else and have them port in your Koodo number. This will close your account with Koodo and generate the final bill. No call to Koodo is required.
