I used the Koodo Phone Protection service. Now what?

So I called the insurance company that covers the phone replacement plan.  They didn't have the Moto X Play anymore, so now I have a spiffy LG G5.   But... now what?  Does my replacement plan continue to work with the new phone?  Do I need to do anything to make that happen?  I called Koodo about the SIM that came with the new phone, and they didn't even know about the new phone.  Frankly I am wary about calling them at times because of the fees.
Any advice and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

The replacement plan will work for your new phone. When the device you have is no longer available they will send you a phone comparable to your device.

There are never fees to talk to Koodo unless you ask Koodo to make a change on your account that you could have made yourself.

That being said, wait times are ridiculously long so you'd do better to contact them via Facebook messenger or a Twitter DM.

Hi Justin, just to add but Koodo wouldn't know about the new phone because it's a separate company that you have insurance with not Koodo they just sell you the insurance. Koodo also won't know you changed phones until you put your old SIM card into the new phone which will tell them what phone your using now.

Did you have a question about the SIM Card that came with the replacement phone still?
