I just bought a SIM card. tried to register a Master Card multiple times. Message I got is: Unable to process credit card. I called the credit card company at least 2 to 3 times, but I was told the credit card is fine. I also called Koodo at least 2 to 3 times in between, but they also claimed nothing is wrong with the Koodo website. Please help. I really need to get this SIM card topped up. very frustrating.

And Koodo didnt register the card for you when they were on the phone with you?

Maybe try to message Koodo on Facebook so they can get this taken care of

yes, my SIM was registered by Koodo, but as the agent tried to add my credit card to my profile, she was not successful.

sl, I believe that vouchers are only good for pre-paid accounts, not post-paid.

Had exactly the same problem today: I received my new Visa, made the change on the Billing tab of my account, then had this message: Unable to process transaction your credit card transaction was denied by uour card issuer. I called Visa, who says everything is fine with my card, and I tend to believe them because on the very same day I made a purchase online with this new Visa and had no problem at all.

"Transaction denied by card issuer" simply means the information you provided through the ( in this case Koodo) website does not match what the card issuer has on file. Depending on the situation, it could be differences in name, address, card number, expiry date, CVV code. So, as far as the card issuer is concerned, there is no problem with your card; the problem is the info in the two different places does not match.

Is the name on her card exactly the name on the account? If not that could be why because it needs to be

Got it: in my Visa account my apt number was written in front of the street number ex.: 4-103, wellington st., but in my Koodo account it was 103, wellington st., unit 4

A-ha!  You got caught in Canada Post's new addressing guidelines! The Visa account follows the new guidelines.

Thanks for sharing the solution. Watched the construction of  the Skydome from a Wellington St. W. address. Thanks for the memory!
