I payed the bill for last month but it shows up in the bill for this month again

hello Koodo...
I payed for the bill for last month...(payed august 15 //two days late) but in the bill that I just got.. (it is actually for this month) it shows, I still need to pay for the last month' bill... last month bill and this month bill are added and total cost is doubled

What is the billing date on the new bill? If you paid after that date your payment will not be reflected. Imagine that your bills are mailed rather than online. It can't be updated if it's in the mail when your payment arrives.

It's all good! :D Koodo received corretly, and Online bill seems alright. The bill is printed out just after I made the payment with online banking. thank you anyways! it helped me a lot

This thread is 3 years old. I highly doubt that the person is going to respond. Did you do as the thread suggested? I suggest reading it all and then come back if none of it works or helps.

I easily forget the due date for payment..:( so next time I am gonna use automatic payment(Pre-authorized payments)
I have issue I paid my bill on 27 December again on 9 th I got the new bill asking to pay before 5 th

So you paid last month's bill and now you're being asked to pay this month's bill too? How unreasonable!

I just payed my bill which was $213 and i added $217 on it on the 28 and now it sayiing that i still owe 213 on april 20 which i should only be paying 88$ i havent done any long callings

Did you pay before you received your bill? 
Sometimes, it takes time to adjust/reflect your balance on your self serve.
If your due date is on 20th, I would wait for next few days to see if your payment went through. 
If it's still same, call CS from your Koodo phone. *611 and option 5

no they shut my phone down and i went to pay it on the 28 then on the 29th they sent me that if i dont pay my bill before the april 20 it will be 213 which is confusing cause that not even a moth yet and my contract only says i have to pay 88

I see.  You made payment on 28th and they sent you a bill on 29th. They might send you a bill before they received your payment. (It takes time to process it. )

Log into self serve to see if your balance still showing you $213. Your payment should be reflected by now.  If not, call them *611 > option 5

I paid my bill before the requested date, paid on the 8th and it was due by the 13th. Just got my newest bill and they just added it to this one even though i paid before my billing date. It's been close to 2 weeks, how did they not receive the payment? I paid 40$ and I owed 37$, now I'm owing 84$, I should only be owing between 35-45

Yea I did that. It doesn't even show a payment. Considering I paid my bill October 8th, well before the due date of October 13th, it shouldn't of been added to my next bill. So what am I supposed to do, just wait for it to go through? It's already gone through on my banks end. Not paying an extra 40$ that shouldn't be there.

If you made payment by online banking, it could take 3 to 5 business days to go through.  It was a Thanks giving holiday, so there might be some delay to show up on your self serve.  
I would wait for another few days and check the self serve again. If it still doesn't change, then you should call Koodo if your payment went through. (*611 from your Koodo phone)

When you call in, message might say there may charge .... But there is no charge for this call.

When you call them, maybe ask them, if it's possible that it could be a tech issue with on line banking.

Seriously, I pay at the bank teller OR use the ATM on a Friday, it shows up paid by Monday, Tuesday if Monday is a holiday.
