I never used to have problems with my service? Why don't I get service anymore though?????

I always used to get at least 3 bars worth of service when in my house (basement included) as well as it school (again in the basement) which is why I praised Koodo so much, but about a week ago my S4 says 'Emergency Calls Only" in these exact locations. Why is this and how do I get my service back????? 

Come on Koodo, don't disappoint.

There are a myriad of factors as to why you may or may not have service where you used to. . Perhaps another new signal is washing yours out or maybe a tower has malfunctioned. Maybe someone e just built a hi rise apartment complex in the line of sight to your tower. Or your phone has malfunctioned.

Best thing to do would be call tech support and log a ticket. That way koodo can check their equipment and make sure it's running correctly. Who knows they may even already be aware of a problem in your area.

In the meantime if there is service outside but not inside, you may want to consider a signal booster from companies like Wilson. I'm not talking about those fake boosters like you used to put behind cell phone batteries. Real equipment you buy and install in your home.

On your phone the most you can do is power cycle it daily

And make sure your network selection is set to automatic.
