broke my Samsung Galaxy Ace II two days ago- dropped on concrete -. screen damaged, cannot read screen. Transferred all photos before buying another Samsung Galaxy Ace II. After completing the purchase, store tech advised that my CONTACTS were not transferred to the new Samsung Galaxy - apparently they were not stored/saved on the SIM card. Was advised to hook up phone to laptop and export all contacts to a file there, then import my contacts to the new phone. Only one SIM card available, so I'm moving it from broken phone to new phone. PROBLEM: COMPUTER states unable to find my contacts - what do I do now???????

Sorry you lost your contacts :( I would advise you to use your Google account for your contacts, Diana, that way you always have them at hand no matter what device you're using at the time.

Have you logged into Google yet on your Ace 2?
