I lost my LG G3 phone and I have ordered an LG G5 upgrade.

I live in halifax NS. While I am waiting for the upgrade what should i do about my current lost phone? should i report it lost/stolen? and is there a way to suspend my current plan ($45 1gb data & canada wide calling ) until my new phone arrives?

Reporting your phone as lost/stolen will suspend your sim card so that it will no longer work in your lost phone and your phone will be blacklisted so that it can't be used if others want to activate it so yes I would suggest doing that.

i went down to the koodo kiosk about an hour ago (i had already previously reported it lost/stolen but it isnt anymore) and they had to unsuspend it in order to work with my account. (they didnt have the phone i wanted so i came home to order online) now it says that i cannot suspend at this time. perhaps i should try again tomorrow?

If you cant report the phone lost or stolen online I would recommend sending a private message to Koodo on FB or to give them a call.  Otherwise you risk someone else using your phone and racking up the charges
