I'm using an iphone 5s with a 300 min plan. I have got repeated voicemails for a couple of months now that are empty and for which there is no recent call record. The phone doesn't ring for these. The voicemails are usually short and silent when I check them. These functions all work normally otherwise. It's very annoying, how do I get it to stop?

Do they show an originating number? Could be telemarketers/scammers/robocallers trolling for numbers.

No, that's the thing, there is no incoming call or number logged in my recents.

Do you have do no disturb mode activated? Sometime call go directly to VM with that option on.

Hey David? Did you check the Do Not Disturb setting like Robert suggested? Let us know! :)

All the Do Not Disturb switches were off except for the Repeated Calls one. I have turned it off now. But it seems to me that even with DND on an incoming call would be logged, right? And whoever called would actually leave a message. I have been getting other calls. This feels like a glitch in Koodo's voicemail system, like it's not actually coming from a phone call. I just had my sister call and leave a message and everything worked the way it is supposed to, but I expect there will be more of these call-less empty messages.

Are you able to see any activity on your phone bill? (An incoming phone number that you do not recognize and where calls are short in duration). Using this method, you might be able to find out where these calls originate.

These calls don't seem to be showing up on my phone bill either.

So, none of these helpful suggestions has identified the cause of the problem I have (or its solution), and I continue to get these empty voicemail messages (one yesterday, another one today). I can't seem to find any actual customer support number/email for Koodo, is it the case that Koodo has no customer support?

1-866-995-6636 is Koodo's Customer Support Number.

I've had this issue as well. I always get the calls at the same time of day and there is no logged missed call or anything.

Hey Alicia! Have you perhaps added a number to your do not disturb list or blocked a number from calling you? If so, the call will not be shown on your phone but the person can still leave a voicemail.  Keep us posted!
