There should be a $2 data block add on to allow MMS only. If you can't find it or add it in Self Serve, call customer service at 1-866-995-6636 and get them to help you out and explain to them that you were having difficulty doing it online so they shouldn't charge you the usual fee.

Another option is to go I to your settings under data usage and restrict background data so your apps won't use data when you turn data on to receive / send pictures messages. The apps will only use data when thry are opened. You won't get any notifications from those apps but if you only use data to send and receive pictures I'm guessing you don't care about notifications.
You could also send or receive pictures when your connected to wifi but through your cellular data connection so everything else other than the pictures message is going through wifi but the picture will use the cellular connection to send / recieve when you turn data on momentarily.

There is sometimes some leakage, since the tap has to be turned on the send the pix and then turned off. Some phones will boot up with data on and then turn it off part way through the start-up process.

Admittedly it smacks of paying more to get less, but the $2 a month charge will solve that problem for you if Paul's suggestions don't pan out with your gear.
