I bought a phone and the next day I returned it due to the fact I didn't like it. Now koodo won't remove the tab from my account balance and won't allow me to get another phone. Does anyone know how long it takes to remove the tab balance on the account?
I had 15 day return policy. I returned it after 1 day. They took the phone gave a return receipt and said koodo won't allow u to get another phone until the tab balance is paid off the phone. But I don't own the phone and my account says -360.00 tab balance. I took it back to the store yesterday morning. The young man working the counter didn't like doing the return so I think he might have put a hold on the account posibly. I thought I could return it and switch or upgrade to another phone the same day. Guess not.
What happened was the rep processed the return at the POS level, but never did the Tab reversal onto your account. I've done that by accident a few times back in the day but it's pretty quickly corrected, especially if you intended to get a different phone. He might have been new or something.
