You need to have your data enabled in order to send/receive MMS. Also, if your phone is an unlocked phone you may need to configure your APN : http://help.koodomobile.com/plans-add...

You may have Data disabled. They require data to be turned on to send/receive. It won't be used, because it's included in the plan but it does have to be turned on.

*NOTE: If you do not have a data plan you may incur Data usage from other applications without knowing.

@Justin... I just went through this but Koodo rep made no mention that I may incur data usage from other applications as you mention. This is BS! They obviously know that users who want to utilize free text/pictures messaging type plan (and have no data on plan) are going to trigger data usage and hence as I did a $5.00 fee to start from what I can see on my plan. Why can I receive text but Not pictures on messaging? It's all data ultimately!

Yeah it really depends on the Rep. Personally I don't even advertise the Picture/Video messages with Pay-Per-Use Data plans. It's always more trouble than it's worth. But again, that's just me.

To be honest give Customer Service a call and tell them what happened. If you were totally unaware of extra charges it's likely they'll sympathize and wave the fee this time.

Might also want to look at the next plan up, which is an extra $5 but you get a smidge of Data.
